Very simple moussaka
Different peoples in the Balkans, preparing some food differently, and each family has its own unique recipe of this dish. I represent to your attention a very simple recipe of moussaka, for which our family often cook.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

  • Minced meat

    400 г

  • Onion

    1 шт

  • Carrots

    2 шт

  • Chicken egg

    2 шт

  • Milk

  • Vegetable oil

  • Salt

For starters, get the mince out of the freezer and defrost it. Then take onions and carrots, bow clean and shinkuem cubes, carrots grate.

In a saucepan, heat vegetable oil (I used olive). Lightly fry the onion.

To the onions add the grated carrots, pour water and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring often.

Then add the minced meat and some water. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer until the meat will not change color.

Peel and wash the potatoes. Half cut into not too thin slices. Spread on bottom of baking dish and a little salt.

All the stuffing spread on the slices of potatoes, well spread and compacted.

The remaining potatoes cut into slices and arrange on the stuffing.

Take two eggs.

Whisk them together with the milk and salt.

Pour the sauce of our moussaka. It should be juicy.

Bake in a preheated oven on high heat for 1 hour.

Moussaka serve hot with sour cream. Bon appetit! Preparation moussaka: Potatoes to grate, then you do not have to bake for an hour, but only 45-60 minutes, until it will turn brown.
