Cooking
Grind butter with sugar. Add rum and egg.
Stir flour with baking powder, nuts, spices and lemon zest.
Mix both mixtures to make dough cushion 3 cm in diameter, wrap in clingfilm and leave overnight in the fridge.
Heat the oven to 180°. Cushion cut slices and bake them for 15 minutes on the lined baking tray. Yield: 24 pieces
Decorate as desired. I smeared white chocolate and sprinkled with a sugar topping in the form of Christmas trees. Blend of ground spices for confectionery: cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg, allspice. All taken in equal proportions. For this recipe it is enough to take two small pinches of each ingredient.
