Crostata with apples
Crostata is an Italian open pie dough with various fillings. You can use as toppings jams, berries, and even cottage cheese, in any case, it turns out very tasty (and fast). In this case (pictured) I did a half portion for three.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    500 г

  • Sugar

    200 г

  • Butter

    250 г

  • Chicken egg

    2 шт

  • Leavening agent

    10 г

  • Vanilla sugar

  • Powdered sugar

Cut in butter and RUB on a large grater, add sugar, flour and vanilla sugar, grind until smooth crumbs.

Add the dough balls and baking powder and mix all ingredients as for the regular dough, forming a ball.

The finished dough wrap in cling film and leave in refrigerator for 30 minutes.

While the dough is cooled, prepare the apples - peel and cut out the core and cut into thin slices.

Chilled dough divide into two uneven parts 2/3. The most part of roll 1 cm thick and place on a greased form (traditionally, the form should be round and shallow, but I have unfortunately such was not). Evenly divide the apples, and garnish with sliced strips of the smaller parts of the test. Bake at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

Ready Crostata to cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Bon appetit and sweet life.
